Job Overview
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Kheda. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in providing desktop support services. This is a full-time position that requires technical skills in areas such as server management, firewalls, CCTV, troubleshooting, configuration, hardware, and networking.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year and maximum of 3 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
- Strong skills in server management, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with firewalls and network security protocols.
- Ability to install, monitor, and troubleshoot Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Experience in network troubleshooting and configuration.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop-related hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and firewalls.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CCTV systems to ensure functionality and security.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions in a service management system.
- Ensure all support requests are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
