Role Overview:

As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our mobile and web applications through the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts. Your experience in both mobile and web application testing, along with your understanding of the mutual fund industry, will play a vital role in our pursuit of excellence. 

 Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and functionalities.

 - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both mobile and web applications. 

- Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and identify defects to ensure the quality of our applications. 

- Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and ensure timely software delivery. 

- Contribute to test planning, estimation, and documentation of testing processes and outcomes. 

- Participate in enhancing testing frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. 

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation testing techniques. 

 Requirements:

- 9+ years of experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

 - Strong proficiency in automation testing tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. 

- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Java) for test automation. 

- Sound understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices. 

- Prior experience in testing mobile and web applications is essential. 

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure CICD /jenkins ). 

- Advantageous: Previous experience in the mutual fund industry. 

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail. 

- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams.
