Position Title: Deputy Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis & MIS

 

Location: Mumbai, India

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the annual budgeting process by coordinating with department heads to develop comprehensive budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
  2. Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
  3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and variance analysis reports.
  4. Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  5. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic initiatives and drive business performance.
  6. Monitor and analyze actual financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas of concern or improvement.
  7. Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management.
  8. Collaborate with accounting and other teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance.
  10. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles, with a demonstrated track record of success.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
  2. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial analysis.
  3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
