Position Title: Deputy Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis & MIS
Location: Mumbai, India
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting process by coordinating with department heads to develop comprehensive budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and variance analysis reports.
- Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic initiatives and drive business performance.
- Monitor and analyze actual financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas of concern or improvement.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management.
- Collaborate with accounting and other teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles, with a demonstrated track record of success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
