As a TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding operations to join various metal components using TIG and MIG welding techniques. Your primary duty will be to ensure the accurate and efficient welding of metal parts, meeting specific project requirements, and maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities:

1. Welding Operations:

• Set up and prepare welding equipment, including gas tanks, welding torches, and filler rods.
• Perform TIG and MIG welding techniques to join metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Ensure the accuracy and precision of welds to meet project requirements and quality standards.

1. Blueprint Interpretation:

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications to understand welding requirements and dimensions.
• Use knowledge of welding techniques to select appropriate methods for different materials and thicknesses.

1. Material Preparation:

• Clean and prepare metal surfaces to be welded, removing rust, dirt, grease, or other contaminants.
• Measure and mark materials for accurate alignment and positioning.

1. Safety and Quality Control:

• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to verify weld quality and detect defects or imperfections.
• Perform necessary rework or repairs as needed to meet quality standards.

• Maintain welding equipment by cleaning, inspecting, and performing regular maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
