Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Rebar Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings for steel reinforcement in concrete structures, ensuring compliance with design plans and project specifications. The role requires collaboration with engineers, architects, and construction teams to deliver accurate and efficient detailing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings for rebar placement in construction projects.
• Interpret and review construction blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements and industry standards (e.g., ACI, CRSI).
• Calculate material quantities and prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to address design challenges.
• Communicate design changes and updates effectively with the project team.
• Utilize detailing software such as AutoCAD,REVIT and CADS RC
• Stay updated with advancements in rebar detailing technology and practices.
• Ensure timely project completion while meeting quality standards and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for material calculations.
• Hands-on experience with rebar detailing tools and software like AutoCAD, CADS RC, REBAR CAD, RC CAD
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes (e.g., ACI, CRSI, BS).
• Familiarity with reinforcing steel fabrication, installation, and construction practices.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing shop drawings and BBS.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with project teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with international projects and standards.
• Certification or training in rebar detailing or structural drafting.
