Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payment Posting Team Lead to join our medical billing department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management and a proven track record in leading a team to achieve billing and payment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the payment posting team to ensure timely and accurate posting of payments.
• Oversee daily operations and workflows related to payment posting and reconciliation.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes.
• Generate and analyze reports to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certification in medical billing and coding (CPC, CPB) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in medical billing software and EHR systems.
• Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
