Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Desktop Support. As a Desktop Support, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees for their desktop computer systems, software, and hardware. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The ideal candidate should have less than 1 year of experience as a Desktop Support and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fresher: Less than 1 year of experience as a Desktop Support
- Knowledge of server and firewall technologies
- Ability to provide remote support
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support to employees for desktop computer systems, software, and hardware
- Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade desktop hardware and software
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network issues
- Ensure the security and privacy of information on desktops and laptops
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new desktop computer systems
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain IT infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in desktop support
- Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on the proper use of desktop systems
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
