Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Desktop Support. As a Desktop Support, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees for their desktop computer systems, software, and hardware. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The ideal candidate should have less than 1 year of experience as a Desktop Support and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications and Skills

• Fresher: Less than 1 year of experience as a Desktop Support
• Knowledge of server and firewall technologies
• Ability to provide remote support
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows operating systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to employees for desktop computer systems, software, and hardware
• Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade desktop hardware and software
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network issues
• Ensure the security and privacy of information on desktops and laptops
• Assist with the setup and configuration of new desktop computer systems
• Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain IT infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in desktop support
• Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on the proper use of desktop systems
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
