Job Overview

We are seeking a Cost Accountant to join our team at Raghu Vamsi Group. As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing budgets and financial reports, and ensuring accurate allocation of costs to various projects and departments. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and we are looking for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in cost accounting.

Qualifications and Skills

• CMA, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in cost accounting
• Proficiency in cost accounting methodologies and principles
• Knowledge of ERP software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze costs and variances, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to projects and departments
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor inventory levels and perform reconciliations
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist in cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency
• Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations related to cost accounting
