Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Gaming Developer to join our team at CodeVyasa. As a Gaming Developer, you will be responsible for creating and developing engaging and innovative games for various platforms. This position is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and is a full-time role with a mid-level requirement of 4 to 6 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
• Solid experience in game development using popular game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C# or C++
• Strong knowledge of game mechanics, physics, and AI algorithms
• Experience in developing games for multiple platforms, including mobile, PC, and console
• Familiarity with 2D and 3D graphics and animation
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Designing and developing high-quality and interactive gaming applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design game mechanics, controls, and user interfaces
• Implementing game features, including game logic, physics simulations, and AI algorithms
• Testing and debugging games to ensure optimal performance and a smooth gaming experience
• Optimizing game performance by analyzing and improving code efficiency
• Staying up-to-date with the latest gaming trends, technologies, and best practices
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to game development
• Working closely with game designers and artists to bring game concepts to life
• Documenting and maintaining technical specifications and code documentation
