Sr. Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst who has expertise Retail and/or Ecommerce, and

experience working in Agile delivery methodology & Scrum framework.

A day in the life:

Works closely with Product Managers, Business Owners and Technology teams to ensure

requirements are in place and understood. Responsible for ensuring acceptance criteria is

aligned. Works closely with Product Owner, Scrum Master & development team to carry out

typical BA tasks, including:

 Gathering & documenting requirements

 Supporting business owner and/or product manager in refining backlog

 Participating in user story creation and backlog grooming in an agile delivery

methodology.

 Capturing architectural decisions in requirements

 Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with product manager

 Utilizing artifacts such as JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to

facilitate requirement alignment sessions

Qualifications:

 8+ years of overall work experience in technology field

 4+ years working in a Business Analyst role on a technology team, with at least 2 of

those years in Retail and/or E-commerce

 Experience providing requirements for medium to large initiatives

 Experience working with both Agile and Scrum

 Demonstrated experience translating strategy into feature development roadmaps

 Demonstrated experience with Jira and Confluence

 Proven experience interacting with and collaborating with North American based

teams

 Excellent communication skills
