Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement robust APIs and web services.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Follow industry best practices and stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PHP Web Developer, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Proficiency in PHP, with a good understanding of its frameworks such as Laravel, WordPress, or CodeIgniter is a plus.
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like React, Vue.js, or AngularJS is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and of developing web services.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL/MySQL databases and their declarative query languages.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
