Objectives of this role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOpsexpert with the strong background in manage the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of virtualized environments utilizing hypervisor technologies such as VMware and OpenStack, candidate must haveexpertise in scripting language and automation tools such as JavaScript,BashScript Ansible, Terraform, Python.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with cloud-based platforms, specifically Azure, and be familiar with Agile Methodology.

As a DevOps(IT Automations) you will be responsible for the design and development of innovative software solutions for clients across a variety of systems for Hitachi Vantara Customers.

Responsibilities

·        Manage and administer virtualized environments using VMware and OpenStack hypervisor technologies to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.

·        Implement and maintain code quality standards utilizing the SonarQube framework, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

·        Design, develop, and enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, ADO, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform to automate software delivery processes.

·        Orchestrate containerized applications and microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Jinja2 templates for efficient deployment and scaling.

·        Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code using JavaScript, Ansible, Terraform, Python, BashScript, and Azure scripting languages to streamline deployment and management tasks.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.

·        Proven experience in managing and administering virtualized environments using VMware and/or OpenStack.

·        Solid understanding and practical experience with code quality management frameworks such as SonarQube.

·        Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.

·        Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, along with proficiency in Jinja2 templating.

·        Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Ansible, Terraform, Python, and BashScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.

·        Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and experience working within an Agile development environment.

·        Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.

·        Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

·        Any relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud computing, or related fields would be a plus.

Good to Have: -

·        Experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation tasks would be advantageous.

Business Hour: - 

·        Normal Business hours. The expectation would be to start late and cover EST time until 12 PM. Exception subject to manager permission.

Job Type: -

·        Hybrid Working: Minimum 4 days from office Monday to Thursday. Friday is flexible but in case of business need and high demand, the manager may request to be present in the office.
