Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled WordPress Developer for a full-time mid-level position based in Ahmedabad. At cmsMinds, you will join a passionate team to deliver high-quality web development solutions. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin development, along with a strong grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in WordPress development, including the ability to code custom themes and plugins.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development and creating responsive designs.
• Experience with responsive design principles to ensure websites are optimized for all devices.
• Expertise in plugin development and customization to extend WordPress functionality.
• Knowledge of PHP as it relates to WordPress development.
• Familiarity with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand website requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
• Perform site maintenance, troubleshooting, and bug fixing.
• Stay up-to-date with new web technologies and best practices to enhance development efficiency.
• Contribute to improving internal processes and team collaboration.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
