Candidate should have experience managing payroll and non-payroll compliances, including EPF, ESI, PT, LWF, S&E, POSH, minimum wages, equal remuneration, the Transgender Act, the Disability Act, registrations, and annual consolidated returns.

Labor Compliance:

• Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure company policies comply.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with labor standards.
• Maintain and update employee records in compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with legal and HR teams to address compliance issues.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and submit required tax and compliance filings.
• Generate reports for management and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Document and maintain payroll and compliance procedures.

Training and Development:

• Provide training to HR staff and management on payroll and labor compliance topics.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in payroll and labor compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and labor compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll software and systems.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
