Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our team. As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records and translating the information into standardized medical codes. Your expertise in coding and understanding of medical terminologies will ensure the accurate and efficient processing of patient data.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient records and apply appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
• Work on HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category) projects with prior experience in the same.
• Interpret medical documentation and ensure correct coding based on industry standards.
• Utilize standard coding tools such as AAPC coding manuals and Super Coder.
• Collaborate with the Team Leader to stay updated on client requirements.
• Ensure that all productivity and quality targets are met, including Turnaround Time (TAT).
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Experience: 6 months to 2 years of experience in HCC coding or related medical coding roles.
• Skills: Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding systems, and interpretation of medical records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards.
