JOB DESCRIPTION FOR BDM PROFILE-
Job Summary:
We seek a proactive and results-oriented BDM to drive lead generation and business growth within the tech support sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, a deep understanding of IT services, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from initial inquiry to closure, focusing on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead Generation & Sales:
- Generate leads for tech support businesses through strategic prospecting.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets in both revenue and gross margin.
-Strategic Planning & Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategic frameworks for business activities within the assigned verticals.
- Identify, create, and close new business opportunities to drive company growth.
-Sales Cycle Management:
- Manage the entire sales process from unqualified inquiries to final closure, including quotations, evaluations, support, and pricing negotiations.
- Enhance the conversion rate of inquiries into successful sales.
-Project Collaboration:
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, with complete tracking of engagements against business objectives.
-Client Relationship Management:
- Enhance revenue streams from existing clients and their affiliates.
- Provide exceptional customer support, including information transfer, presentations, and training.
-Sales Planning & Reporting:
- Create, establish, and deliver comprehensive sales plans tailored to client needs.
- Monitor and report on sales activities and forecasts, providing relevant management information.
-Offshore Coordination:
- Manage and coordinate with offshore development teams to ensure seamless project execution.
-Market Research & Prospecting:
- Conduct prospecting and follow-up from marketing activities, aligning with sales processes and methodologies.
Skills:
- Sales Process Expertise: Sound knowledge of the sales process, with experience in service sales within a large or medium consulting environment.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the IT services sector, including experience in outsourcing and offshoring.
- Networking Ability: A well-established network of influencers and decision-makers in the services industry.
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in solution and service sales, with at least 6 months in business development specifically targeting the US/UK/Australia/Canada markets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative & Analytical Thinking: Ability to think creatively and analytically, with a strong adaptability to different scenarios.
- Self-Starter: Independent and self-motivated, yet able to work effectively within a small, skilled team of sales professionals.
- Target-driven: Results-focused with strong negotiation skills and the ability to lead from the front.
