Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js to design, develop, and maintain the server-side logic and infrastructure of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of back-end technologies, and a passion for creating efficient and scalable systems. 

Key Responsibilities

● Backend Development: Design and develop scalable and secure APIs and back-end systems using Node.js.

● Database Management: Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models for relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

● Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

● Optimization: Ensure high performance and responsiveness of back-end applications.

● Testing: Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure application reliability and stability.

● Documentation: Maintain clear and concise technical documentation for the back-end architecture, APIs, and systems.

● Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues and bugs in a timely manner.

● Mentorship: Guide junior developers and contribute to the overall skill development of the team.

Qualifications

● Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js.

Technical Skills:

○ Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).

○ Experience with frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.

○ Proficiency in database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

).

○ Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

○ Experience with version control systems like Git.

○ Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and serverless architectures is a plus.

○ Understanding of security best practices (e.g., authentication, authorization, data encryption)

○ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
