Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team at Chiselon Technologies Pvt Ltd. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Hyderabad or Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience and a strong background in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. The Senior QA Engineer will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing scripts and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with 7 to 10 years in the software industry.
• Proficient understanding of test automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber and Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes (Mandatory skill).
• Extensive understanding and practical experience with Rest Web Services (Mandatory skill).
• Proven ability to work with Golang for test script development (Mandatory skill).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for managing streaming data in high-scale environments.
• Well-versed in version control systems, particularly GIT, for efficient code collaboration.
• Experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker for consistent testing environments.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the release process.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure software quality at every stage of the development cycle.
• Collaborate with the development team to establish quality assurance standards and understand the scope of development projects.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and drive their resolution with the development team.
• Lead the QA team in implementing testing best practices and continuous improvement efforts.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports, feedback, and recommendations for process improvements.
• Ensure all software releases meet the required standards and are delivered on schedule.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and expertise to develop their skills.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in QA technologies and methodologies.
