Job Role: Java Architect

Experience: 12 - 15 yrs

Location: Hyderabad

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Java Architect with over 12 years of experience to join our team as an individual contributor. You will be responsible for architecting and designing large-scale, high-performance enterprise applications while working closely with development, product, and operations teams. This is a hands-on technical role where you will influence architecture decisions, perform code reviews, and be a key contributor to complex projects from inception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Lead the architectural vision for enterprise-level Java-based applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Technology Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions using Java and associated technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, Microservices, etc.).
• System Integration: Lead efforts in integrating with various third-party systems and applications, ensuring a cohesive system architecture.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal application performance by reviewing code, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing best practices.
• Technical Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor for junior developers, providing guidance and thought leadership in architectural best practices.
• Code Reviews: Perform detailed code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards and quality requirements.
• Solution Documentation: Prepare detailed technical specifications and documentation of the architecture and system design.
• Hands-On Development: Participate actively in coding to prototype and develop key modules in Java (Spring Boot, Microservices, etc.), driving innovation and efficiency within the team.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and operations teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation.

Technical Skills:

• Core Expertise in Java: Mastery of Java (Java 8 and above), including multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Frameworks: Extensive experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other Java-related frameworks.
• Microservices Architecture: Deep experience with designing and implementing microservices architectures and using RESTful APIs.
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Databases: Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Messaging and Queuing Systems: Hands-on experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar systems.
• Security & Compliance: Knowledge of security protocols and practices, including OAuth, SSO, JWT, encryption, and data protection.
• Version Control & Collaboration: Experience using Git, Jenkins, and other collaboration tools.

Soft Skills:

• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make architectural decisions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively as an individual contributor.
• Collaboration: Proven experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Certifications:

• Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer or equivalent.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar cloud certifications.
