Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Test Engineer for a full-time, mid-level position in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of professional experience. This role involves developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in test automation with a minimum of 4 years in the field.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in using JIRA for project and issue tracking to streamline test processes.
• Experience with Postman for API testing to ensure robust RESTful API validation.
• Knowledge of using TestRail for efficient test management and documentation of testing phases.
• Competency in automation tools like Cypress to enhance end-to-end test coverage.
• Working knowledge of Python for writing clear and efficient automation scripts.
• Strong skills in API testing to verify the functionality and performance of service interfaces.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks to ensure high-productivity testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and close quality gaps during the software lifecycle.
• Execute automated test procedures to verify software quality across various platforms and devices.
• Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and coordinate with developers to implement solutions.
• Prepare and present comprehensive test reports to stakeholders, highlighting quality metrics and insights.
• Utilize project management tools to effectively prioritize and manage multiple testing projects.
• Mentor junior QA team members, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.
