Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with 5+ years of expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Power Query, data integration from multiple sources, customer mapping in Power BI, and implementing Row-Level Security (RLS). You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and transform them into insightful Power BI reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI solutions, including reports and dashboards.
• Use Power Query to connect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources.
• Implement customer mapping and advanced data modeling in Power BI.
• Apply Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure data security and user access control.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Translate business needs into actionable visuals, KPIs, and interactive dashboards.
• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for Power BI solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development.
• Proficiency in Power Query and connecting to diverse data sources (e.g., SQL, APIs, Excel).
• Strong expertise in data modeling, DAX calculations, and visualization techniques.
• Experience implementing RLS to secure data at different levels.
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into data insights.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SQL or other database languages.
• Experience with Power BI Service, deployment pipelines, and Power BI gateways.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Prior experience in a similar role in a dynamic business environment.
