Job Description – Sales Executive/Advisor

Roles & Responsibilities

Overall responsibility of SA can be divided into following sub-functions:

1.      Sales Generation

2.      Customer Service Excellence

3.      Admin Related Function


1.      Sales Generation

a.      Fully responsible for the counter sales

b.      To achieve the targets set and facilitate achieving section targets.

c.       Ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability

d.      Troubleshooting within the section

e.      Fully responsible for sales & satisfaction of customer visiting store.

f.        Responsible for upgrading product knowledge, system knowledge and trouble shooting.

g.      Stretch themselves and achieve beyond their set targets.

h.      Responsible for every activity within the section as per instructions on the subject

i.        Take pride in their job & Profession and show elegance in all their dealings.

j.        Assist colleagues as & when required.


2.      Customer Service Excellence

a.      Listen attentively to customer needs and queries.

b.      Understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

c.       Build and expand existing customer relationships through in-depth analysis of their needs.

d.      Create a wow factor.


3.      Admin Related Function

a.      Handling and upkeep of jewelry as per learning during training

b.      Ensure proper security, upkeep, and maintenance of all areas within your section.

c.       Fully responsible for all transactions upkeep, security of the jewelry & stock taking at the end of the day.

d.      Always keep supervisor fully aware of all activities and any unusual activity be reported immediately to supervisor or in absence to Store Manager

e.      Coordinate leave among the team members to ensure maximum presence in section.

f.        Ensure new employees are oriented to the organization, its policies, facilities, etc.

g.      Resolve any issue whether sales/non-sales of colleagues within the section. If beyond control, then timely escalate the matter to supervisor.

h.      Project suggestion/grievances through supervisor or Store Manager


***Jewelry Knowledge & Experience will be preferred.
