Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior PHP Developer to join Cherri Technologies at our Puducherry, Villupuram, or Cuddalore locations. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years of work experience. As a PHP Developer at our company, your role will involve developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in PHP 8, demonstrating a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experienced in working with popular PHP frameworks, particularly Laravel and Symfony, for building robust applications.
• Strong knowledge in developing RESTful APIs to ensure smooth integration with various third-party services and clients.
• Solid understanding of MySQL, including queries, performance optimization, and database design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization, ensuring easy deployment and consistent development environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git, for effective collaboration and code management within a team.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services to enable efficient deployment and scalability of applications.
• Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for maximum performance and efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features on time and with high quality.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices in software development.
• Work closely with database administrators to design schemas and manage data using MySQL databases.
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs to connect with other web applications and third-party platforms.
• Utilize Docker for creating and managing containerized development environments.
• Maintain source control using Git, ensuring code versioning, merges, and conflict resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall code quality of the team.
