The Cheran Group Of Companies is seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer to join our dynamic team at our Coimbatore headquarters. This is a full-time, senior-level position where the candidate will be responsible for managing media relations, crisis communication, and spearheading the company’s public image strategies. Successful candidates will have 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in public relations or related fields.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in media relations to develop strong, collaborative relationships with various media outlets and journalists for the benefit of the company.
• Proven expertise in crisis communication, with the ability to effectively manage and guide the organization through potential conflicts or difficult situations.
• Proficient in social media management, ensuring strategic and effective brand communication across multiple digital platforms.
• Skilled in content creation with the ability to craft engaging, persuasive communication for varying audiences.
• Exceptional press release writing skills to produce clear and concise messages that align with organizational objectives.
• Experience in influencer collaboration to amplify brand presence and enhance public opinion.
• Proven ability in event planning, with competence in organizing significant corporate and community events that promote brand values.
• Strong public speaking skills to effectively represent the company in public forums and interaction with diverse audiences.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic public relations plans that align with the goals and vision of the company.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with media and key stakeholders to enhance and promote the institution's mission.
• Manage all press activities, including press releases, media requests, and monitoring public perceptions about the company.
• Lead crisis communication efforts by formulating response strategies and acting as a spokesperson during complex situations.
• Coordinate and oversee public appearances and attend press conferences, ensuring the organization is positively represented at all times.
• Liaise with influencers and thought leaders to promote and strengthen the brand.
• Organize and manage events that reflect the ethos and objectives of the Cheran Group Of Companies.
• Monitor and analyze public relations initiatives to assess their success and adjust strategies as necessary.
