Job Title: Marketing Manager (Education)

Location: Coimbatore

Job Summary:

The Cheran Group is looking for a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts of the group's Educational Institutions in India. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in education marketing, a creative mindset, and a proven track record in driving enrollment and brand awareness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that align with the goals of our educational institutions, focusing on student recruitment and brand positioning.
  • Digital Marketing Management: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, email marketing, website management, and SEO/SEM strategies to enhance online visibility and engagement.
  • Content Development: Create compelling marketing content across various platforms, including websites, brochures, newsletters, and social media, tailored to attract prospective students and engage current stakeholders.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for growth; analyze data to inform marketing decisions and strategies.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute promotional events, workshops, webinars, and community outreach activities to increase visibility and foster relationships with prospective students and parents.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials and channels, reinforcing the institutions' values and mission and ensure that the institutions image and position within the market and the general public are enhanced.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Management, academic departments, admissions teams, and other stakeholders to develop marketing initiatives that support enrollment goals.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Performance Measurement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives using relevant metrics; provide regular reports and insights for continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the education sector in India.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies, including social media platforms popular in India.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in budget management and performance analysis.


Skills:

  • Proficient in marketing software and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, SEO).
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of current trends in education marketing and student enrollment strategies in India.
