1.Keep generator, lighting, and electrical systems in working order. Diagnose problems and then repair/replace defective parts.

2. Need to act quickly when a breakdown occurs, must be able to tell management whether the problem can be corrected and whether business can continue as usual. If regular activities must be stopped, the electrician will have to estimate how long a shutdown will last.

3. Make periodic inspection for new electrical services (120v, 240v and 480v three phase), including wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, contractors, relays, timers and controls.

4. Performs electrical maintenance and repair work; install/replace fixtures, switches, receptacles and wiring.

5. Operates a variety of standard power tools, equipment and trenchers in electrical installations, maintenance and repair activities on a regular basis.

6. Maintains records and logs as needed.

7. Provides guidance and direction to less experienced personnel and others assigned to his/her position.

8. Perform other various tasks as instructed by management.

9. Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.

10. Inspect machines, engines, transmissions, etc., and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.

11. Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.

12. Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.

13. Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems.

14. Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.

15. Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.

16. Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine.

17. Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems,etc.).

18. Keep logs of work and report on issues.
