Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Executive with a Master's in Commerce (MCom) and a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The Accounts Executive will work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the overall financial success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
  2. Process and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  3. Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets for management review.
  4. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and relevant regulations.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the audit process.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  8. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently.
  9. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  10. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Master's in Commerce (MCom) or equivalent qualification in accounting.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  9. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  10. Membership in a professional accounting association is desirable.
