Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at CheckTech InfoComm & Power LLP. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in network engineering and will be based in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. This is a freelance position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in network engineering
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols
• Experience with network security technologies and best practices
• Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet devices
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure to meet business requirements
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network availability and performance
• Perform network capacity planning and recommend enhancements to support business growth
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks
• Configure and optimize network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures
• Manage network documentation and keep it up to date
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in network technologies
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior network engineers
