Job Overview

The Chancery Pavilion (Bangalore), a leading hospitality company, is seeking a Night Auditor to join our team. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of the hotel, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and financial procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Proficient in computer systems and software, including MS Office and hotel management systems
• Availability to work night shifts and weekends
• Hospitality or accounting certification is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the nightly operations of the hotel, including checking guests in and out, answering phone calls, and responding to guest inquiries
• Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions, including balancing and reconciling daily revenue and expense accounts
• Prepare and distribute daily reports to management and other relevant departments
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction
• Monitor and maintain the security of the hotel during the night shift
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and budgets
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to provide seamless guest experiences
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
