Job Overview

The IT Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department and supporting the technical infrastructure of The Chancery Pavilion (Bangalore). This includes managing the IT team, ensuring smooth functioning of all IT systems, and providing technical support to employees. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networking, and security
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing the IT team and assigning tasks
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all IT systems and infrastructure
• Monitor the performance and security of IT systems, proactively identifying and addressing any issues
• Ensure the smooth functioning of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Manage software installations, updates, and licenses
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and supplies
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
