Job Overview

The Alchemy at Chancery Pavilion (Bangalore) is seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India with the working hours dependent on the operation of the establishment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven working experience as a Bartender, preferably in a high-volume establishment
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Attention to detail and good organization skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience

Roles and Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take and process drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Pour drinks according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure the bar area is clean and well-stocked at all times
• Monitor and maintain inventory of bar supplies and ingredients
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Handle cash and process payments accurately
• Assist in maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings and promotions
• Provide recommendations on drink selection to customers
• Handle customer complaints in a tactful and diplomatic manner
