Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders, ensuring that the quantity and quality align with operational standards.
- Organize and store items systematically to ensure easy and accurate access, streamlining warehouse and storage operations.
- Maintain inventory system and keep records up-to-date, ensuring all information corresponds with physical stock levels accurately.
- Coordinate with different departments to forecast supply demands, balancing stock levels with daily business requirements.
- Conduct regular stock takes and audits, identifying discrepancies and suggesting proactive solutions to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure that work space is kept clean and tidy, promoting safety within the storage areas and minimizing potential hazards.
- Assist in preparing and generating reports on inventory performance, facilitating informed decision-making by the management team.
- Manage returns and make appropriate arrangements for the disposal of any damaged or obsolete items, ensuring efficient inventory processes.
