Job Overview
Centrix Interiors is seeking a Store Assistant to join our team in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India. As a Store Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our inventory and stock management. This is a Full-Time position with a requirement of less than 1 year of experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fresher with less than 1 year of experience
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and record keeping
- Any undergraduate degree
- Prefer candidates from localities in Bangalore Urban
- Fluency in Hindi language is a must
- Ability to receive and unload shipments
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize store inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders
- Inspect and record received materials for quality and quantity assurance
- Assist in the packing and labeling of products for shipping
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the store
- Assist customers in locating and selecting products
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints
- Operate basic computer systems for inventory management and record keeping
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and team members to improve store operations.
- Maintaining and keeping track of receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
- Receiving, unloading, and shelving supplies
- Executing other stock-related duties which may include returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
- Examining and reviewing deliveries for discrepancies and damages and reporting to necessary personnel for reimbursements and record keeping
