Job Overview
We are seeking a Purchase Executive with architectural experience for our fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, mid-level position located in Bangalore Urban and Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of work experience and will play a key role in managing the procurement of materials and services. The Purchase Executive will work closely with colleagues and vendors to ensure effective purchasing operations aligned with our business goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential for managing and analyzing complex data sets (Mandatory skill).
- Expertise in supply chain management to ensure seamless procurement processes that support organizational goals (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in purchase order management to streamline and optimize order processing (Mandatory skill).
- Experience with SAP ERP to facilitate efficient resource planning and execution within the procurement cycle.
- Vendor management skills to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers that benefit the organization.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms, prices, and delivery conditions from vendors.
- Ability to perform data analysis ensuring data-driven decision-making processes that lead to enhanced purchasing efficiency.
- Strong supplier relationship management skills to foster long-term partnerships that ensure quality and reliability.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all procurement activities contribute to maximizing productivity.
- Identify and select vendors, negotiating to secure the best terms for pricing, delivery, and service.
- Manage purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with orders or deliveries in a timely manner.
- Maintain a database of supplier information to aid in the selection process and enhance relationship management.
- Perform regular market analysis and research to keep abreast of industry trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, safeguarding against risks in procurement processes.
- Support continuous improvement by evaluating and implementing new procurement processes and technologies.
