Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of work experience and will be responsible for assisting with various procurement activities. This is a full-time, junior-level position that involves managing supply chain processes, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring efficient inventory management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in procurement (Mandatory skill)
- Strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals and terms with vendors
- Solid knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Experience in vendor management, including assessing and maintaining vendor relationships
- Proficient in inventory management to ensure stock levels are maintained and shortages are avoided
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
- Ability to conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement of materials, supplies, and services necessary for daily operations
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment schedules with vendors
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and quality supply of goods and services
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to prevent shortages
