Job Overview
Centrix Interiors is seeking a mid-level civil quantity surveyor to join our dynamic team in Bangalore Urban. This full-time role requires a dedicated professional with 4 to 6 years of experience in civil quantity surveying. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing project costs and ensuring maximized efficiency in project execution.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory skill) is essential for drafting and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for reviewing, marking up, and managing PDF documents of projects is crucial.
- Experience in using Microsoft Excel for cost calculations, project management, and data analysis.
- Understanding of Primavera P6 to plan, manage, and execute projects with precision.
- Ability to utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) for creating and managing digital representations of physical and functional characteristics.
- Competency in CostX for efficient cost estimation and takeoff processes.
- Knowledge of RICS standards to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Experience with Sage Timberline software to manage financial and operational activities of the projects effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage all project costs to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with design and project teams to develop cost-effective solutions and ensure budget adherence.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide cost analysis reports to stakeholders.
- Utilize AutoCAD and BIM software for precise quantity takeoffs and project planning.
- Review project documents and contracts to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Engage with suppliers and contractors to negotiate pricing and secure favorable terms.
- Ensure compliance with RICS standards and company policies in all surveying activities.
- Provide support in project tender processes, including bid analysis and recommendation reports.
