Role: Assistant Software Engineer

Job description:

1. Proficiency in JavaScript: Strong understanding of JavaScript language fundamentals and its ecosystem.

2. Node.js expertise: Experience with Node.js runtime environment and its various modules and libraries.

3. Framework knowledge: Familiarity with Node.js frameworks like Express.js for building web applications and APIs.

4. Asynchronous programming: Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts in Node.js, including callbacks, promises, and async/await.

5. Database skills: Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including querying and database management.

6. Version control: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for managing codebase changes.

7. Front-end knowledge: Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and optionally, experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular for full-stack development.

8. Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues effectively, as well as implement efficient and scalable solutions.

9. Testing and debugging: Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha or Jest for writing unit tests and debugging code.
