Join our dynamic GDS team as a Developer Engineer and be part of an exciting journey where your expertise in Python and networking will be key to shaping our innovative solutions. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building and deploying a Python/Networking OS tool, configuring and troubleshooting various networking protocols, and resolving technical issues. Your role will also involve acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams, making your experience in a complex networking environment highly valuable.

What You Will Do:

• Design, Implementation, and Support: Oversee the design, implementation, configuration, and support of L2/L3/SIP/IP/MPLS/Firewall products.
• Network Integrity: Manage and maintain the operational integrity of the company's security and data networks. Respond to incidents and alerts, providing occasional out-of-hours technical support.
• Product Management: Handle the day-to-day configuration, management, and operations of telecom products and GDS software tools.
• Project Planning and Delivery: Participate in the planning, deployment, and delivery of network-related projects.
• Technical Support: Provide L2/L3 support for network devices, LAN, WAN, firewalls, and other network configurations/troubleshooting.
• Routing and Firewall Protocols: Apply your knowledge of routing protocols such as MPLS, BGP, and OSPF, as well as firewall protocols like IPSEC and NAT.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Python Programming: Solve programming problems using Python with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Tool Knowledge: Understand REST API concepts and be proficient in building Python Flask APIs.
• Cloud Technologies: Leverage knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Version Control: Use GIT and tools like GitHub for version control.
• Customer Interaction: Participate in meetings and reviews with customers, providing performance reports and handling technical inquiries.

• Networking Protocols: MPLS, Voice - IP Telephony & Security, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIPV2, MPLS VPN, VoIP, ISDN DDR, Dial Solutions (PPP/L2F), Switching, DSL, IPSEC, GRE, Tunneling, Wireless LAN
• Python Development: Python Language Syntaxes, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures & Algorithms, Django, Flask, Web Scraping Libraries, Debugging Techniques, SQL and NoSQL Databases, Asynchronous Programming.
• DevOps & Cloud: Containerization, Orchestration, Cloud Computing Platforms, Version Control Systems (Git), Package Managers (pip, conda), Build Tools (setup tools), CLI
• Testing Tools: Pytest, Selenium
