Job Description:
As a Relationship Manager in the financial services sector, your role will involve managing client relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and achieving business targets by providing financial solutions tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Acquire and manage a portfolio of clients in the financial services domain.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client financial goals and recommend suitable products and services.
Sales & Business Development:
- Achieve assigned sales targets for products such as mutual funds, insurance, loans, PMS, and stock broking.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to enhance revenue.
- Conduct financial planning sessions with clients and convert leads into sales.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Analyze market trends to identify potential business opportunities.
- Propose sales strategies to penetrate new markets and enhance client retention.
Client Servicing:
- Ensure timely resolution of client queries and grievances.
- Provide clients with updates on market developments and investment opportunities.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Generate periodic reports on sales and client engagement metrics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field. MBA/CFP/CFA is a plus.
- Experience:
- 1–5 years of experience in financial services sales (mutual funds, insurance, equity broking, or similar).
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of financial products and services.
- Ability to analyze client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of sales and revenue targets.
- Growth in client portfolio size and client retention rate.
- Number of successful cross-sell/upsell deals.
- Client satisfaction scores.
Work Environment:
- Full-time, Office-Based
- Opportunity to Travel locally for client meetings.
