Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Data Engineer to join our team at Career Mantra. This is a remote position based in Wakad, Pune, offering a mid-level role for candidates with a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, managing, and optimizing data systems to support our expanding business needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in SQL (Mandatory skill) to efficiently query and manipulate databases, ensuring seamless data extraction and analysis.
• Expertise in Python (Mandatory skill) for developing robust data processing scripts and automating data operations.
• Strong experience with ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into unified databases.
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques to design and implement database structures that maximize data integrity and accessibility.
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark to handle and process large datasets efficiently.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions to organize and store large volumes of data securely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying scalable data solutions in the cloud environment.
• Capability in developing and maintaining data pipelines that ensure consistent and timely data delivery across systems.

• Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Databricks.

• Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

• Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure high performance and reliability.

• Write efficient, maintainable code in .NET and C# for data processing tasks.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

• Document data architecture, processes, and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Azure Databricks and ETL processes.

• Proficient in developing and optimizing data pipelines.

• Experience with .NET and C# programming languages.

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
