Position Title: Senior Software Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with a solid background in computer science, particularly in C++ and C#. The ideal candidate will have approximately 8-10 years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on utilizing Visual Studio for coding and debugging tasks. Additionally, candidates must possess a background in electrical engineering, specifically related to implementing frequency response compensation techniques. Knowledge of PAM4, NRZ, IQ data, and QAM 16 modulation schemes is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain software solutions using C++ and C# within the Visual Studio environment.2. Implement frequency response compensation algorithms and techniques as required for our projects.3. Utilize expertise in electrical engineering to contribute to the development of products and solutions.4. Work with modulation schemes such as PAM4, NRZ, IQ data, and QAM 16.5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet project requirements and deadlines.6. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.7. Document software designs, implementation details, and testing procedures.8. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software development methodologies.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Must:

- 8-10 years of experience in computer science.- Proficiency in C++ and C# programming languages.- Experience using Visual Studio for software development.- Background in electrical engineering, with expertise in frequency response compensation.- Knowledge of PAM4, NRZ, IQ data, and QAM 16 modulation schemes.

High Want:

- Understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts.- Previous experience working with Arbitrary Waveform Generators (AWG) and oscilloscopes.- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.- Experience in graphical user interface (GUI) design.
