Title: Sr. Java Backend Developer

Experience:

5+ years of experience

Responsibilities:

● Design and develop APIs and scalable microservices for the cloud using Java

● Responsible for designing and developing Java components using Spring framework to implement

transaction management

● Good experience in building large-scale software applications

● Work with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver product capabilities

● Develop test automation assets in a continuous integration and deployment environment

● Guide scalability and performance improvements

● Troubleshoot issues, and provide fixes

● Participate in design and code reviews

● Develop features and enhancements from user stories

● Become a product expert in important areas to encourage higher-quality development efforts

● Design and Build customer-facing web applications using our shared React component library

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

● Min 5 years of professional experience in Java development

● Strong knowledge of Java programming language, OOPS (object-oriented programming) concepts

● Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams

● Sound problem-solving and analytical skills

● Familiarity with agile development methodologies

● Effective communication and teamwork skills

● Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices

● Experience with Java frameworks and libraries (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) is a plus

Tech-Stack

● Core Java (version 8 or higher), Spring/Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, JWT, Docker , NoSQL/SQL

Databases

● Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs

● Experience in either Maven, Ant or Gradle

● Experience in AWS or Azure cloud and containerization using Docker

● Knowledge of UI frameworks, Java, and Application servers

● Proficiency with Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, Gitlab) is an advantage

● Excellent debugging and optimization skills

● Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer,

proxies, and other web services used in the system
