SIP Infrastructure Engineer- WFH (Part-Time)

We are looking for a consultant with experience in Kamailio/Freeswitch for 25 hours a week. Join our team and

help us build our communication infrastructure. If this works out well, then this may lead to a full time contract.

May require you to be available offer support during US EST timezone.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve our DevOps Pipelines

● Automate Development and Infrastructure activities.

● Secure infrastructure and automate security controls.

● Conduct design, process, and infrastructure/security reviews.

● Collaborate with Product Owner to create and drive the roadmap/delivery plan/strategy for IT

Infrastructure and Developer resources.

● Ensure that operations and services meet the needs of the business and simplify/streamline processes.

● Knowledge sharing with L1/L2 members.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (technical school) in IT Related field or equivalent hands-on experience

required

● A minimum of five years professional experience in maintaining infrastructure components in a complex

environment

● Experience with Hyper-v and Xen server hyper visors

● Strong fundamentals in Linux

● Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible

● Knowledge of incident and problem analysis preferred

● Experience applying IT Service Management frameworks and tools

● Extensive experience of operations of business-critical IT and Cloud Infrastructure

● Experience with agile processes

● Ideally worked as an IT/Infra architect or engineering background for several years

● Successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key goals and timelines

● Good knowledge of infrastructure related technologies, such as Server H/W, Networks, DBs, OS, Active

Directory, and Cloud

● Familiarity with Public Cloud services frameworks

● Experience in DevOps around Continuous Integration & Delivery

● Team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.

● Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to

stakeholders and company supervisors.

● Strong customer service orientation

● Highly self-motivated and directed with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

● Voice/VoIP/SIP/Asterisk

● Freeswitch

● Kamailio - Kamailio SIP Server - SIP Routing

● VoIP Monitor

● 3+ year’s experience with SIP/RTP and other real-time communication protocols such as WebRTC

● Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex SIP related issues in a carrier-grade network using tools

like tcpdump and wireshark

● Administration of Linux environments (operation, deployment, and monitoring)

● Experience with highly scalable SIP proxies (Kamailio, OpenSIPS) a plus

● Scripting experience with Perl, Python, or PHP

● Relational Databases (MySQL, Postgres)

● CouchDB

● Type: Part Time, Contract

● Reporting to: Project Manager

● Contract: Rs 40-50 k/- month

● Joining timeline: Immediate to 30 days.
