We are looking for a person with at least 5 years of post-MBA experience in the internal or external consulting space with strong research, analytical, and writing skills. The candidate will be based in our Haryana office as part of our M&A Consulting unit, and will work closely with M&A Consulting unit based in Singapore to build and work on reports that have a direct impact on business priorities. The role will be expected to lead India-based M&A Consulting unit and assist on a diverse range of projects involving analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize findings, produce executive presentation material, and demonstrate solid analytical and writing skills. 

What You'll Do

As a Manager in India-based M&A Consulting unit, you will facilitate and manage their team to create effective and leading-edge learning and development designs to achieve desired growth goals

• Influence teams and individuals positively. Leading by example and establishing confident relationships with Singapore team

• Responsible for the quality of deliverables executed by the India team members

• Work on research-based insights which will be used to drive strategies and decision making for Singapore team and the client

• Support in designing research proposal and formulating research plan through scoping

• Analyze competitor’s performance and strategies, perform industry and sector analysis, and regulatory environment assessments

Extract the most relevant information answering the research needs from the relevant databases. Learn and apply established research tools and methodologies to develop innovative research ideas

• In-depth qualitative analysis by connecting various pieces of information, identifying patterns and forming logical structure to present a compelling story. Financial analysis, and strategic frameworks are used extensively in the team’s output

• Present the key findings using strong business writing, and storyboarding skills. Presents accurate data in appropriate charts and graphs

• Execute research projects ensuring quality and timelines in teams, or independently • Develop high-performing teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities and recognize them for the impact that they make

Required: • MBA degree or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Commerce/Mathematics/Economics

• 5+ years of experience in business strategy and business case development, including market analysis, interviewing skills, and data distillation to insights preferred

• Excellent core consulting skills – i.e. analytical, primary and secondary research, presentation, and financial modeling, including logical structuring and storytelling; superior knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

• Collaborative mindset to share and implement best practices • Strong instructional design and project management skill.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in designing leadership and professional skills programs • Prior consulting or professional services experience

• Proficiency in Japanese language (Business level) is an advantage
