Job Overview
We are hiring an Admission Counsellor to join our team at CampusStellar. As an Admission Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to prospective students throughout the admission process. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in counseling or admissions, preferably in the education sector
- Strong knowledge of the higher education system and admission processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to empathize and connect with students from diverse backgrounds
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and strategies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and counseling to prospective students regarding various courses and programs offered by the partner institutions
- Assist students in understanding admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and application processes
- Handle inquiries from prospective students and provide accurate information about the courses, fees, scholarships, and other related details
- Build and maintain relationships with partner institutions to stay updated about new courses, admission deadlines, and other relevant information
- Organize and conduct admission events, workshops, and seminars to promote partner institutions and attract potential students
- Prepare and review application documents, including transcripts, recommendation letters, and personal statements, to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to attract prospective students
- Follow up with prospective students to provide additional information and support, and assist them in making informed decisions
- Ensure compliance with the ethical standards and guidelines set by regulatory bodies in the education sector
- Maintain records of student interactions and update the CRM system with accurate and relevant information
