Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Ark Comforts in Canacona. This is a full-time, mid-level position, ideal for individuals with up to 6 years of experience in housekeeping roles. The role requires professional cleaning and organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and ensure a welcoming environment for our guests and staff.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Cleaning (Mandatory skill) – Proficient in a variety of cleaning techniques and practices to maintain high standards of hygiene and tidiness.
  • Organization (Mandatory skill) – Excellent ability to organize tasks effectively, ensuring that all cleaning duties are completed promptly and efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail – Keen eye for detail to ensure all areas are immaculate and any issues are addressed swiftly.
  • Time Management – Capable of managing time effectively to handle multiple tasks and meet cleaning schedules.
  • Physical Stamina – Must be physically able to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods during the workday.
  • Teamwork – Strong team player who works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common cleanliness objectives.
  • Customer Service – Committed to ensuring high guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns and providing assistance as needed.
  • Communication – Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in guest areas and office spaces.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and rooms are well-maintained and report any malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
  • Follow sanitation procedures and maintain records of cleaning activities as per set standards.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by addressing inquiries and responding promptly to their needs.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the overall upkeep and functionality of facilities.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines in all cleaning activities to ensure a safe environment.
  • Assist in special cleanliness projects or deep cleaning as required or instructed by supervisors.
