Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Cafe De Voyage, located in South Goa. As a mid-level position, this full-time role requires a dedicated individual with experience in the art of bartending. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, outstanding customer service skills, and a thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages.

Qualifications and Skills

• Mixology expertise, with the ability to create and innovate in drink preparation (Mandatory skill)
• Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for clients (Mandatory skill)
• Comprehensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including spirits, wines, and beers (Mandatory skill)
• Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in orders and presentations
• Strong communication skills, able to interact effectively with both clients and staff
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple orders at once
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of long shifts and busy periods
• Effective problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues that may arise

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide range of beverages, from classic cocktails to innovative creations
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and taking orders
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully stocked
• Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive and efficient working environment
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively
• Stay updated on current beverage trends and continuously seek to improve mixology skills
