Job Overview

We are hiring a Java Software Engineer to join our team at Caliber Connect HR Services. As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications. This is a mid-level position that requires 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and it is a full-time employment opportunity.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5 to 6 years of Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, such as MySQL or Oracle.
• Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Designing, coding, testing, and debugging Java applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintaining existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
• Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions.
• Contributing to the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
