Job Overview

We are looking for an SQL Developers Apprentice at Bytemetrics Solutions, positioned at the fresher level. This is a full-time remote internship opportunity, based in Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore, Nashik, or Chandigarh. Candidates with 0 to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply and will gain invaluable exposure to real-world projects and database management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in SQL querying, a foundational skill necessary for effective database management and retrieval of data, considered a mandatory skill.
• Experience with SQL Server, a key system for developing and managing databases important for this role, is mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify, analyze and solve complex database issues efficiently, marked as a mandatory skill.
• A solid understanding of database design principles to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval systems.
• Experience in data modeling, crucial for structuring data logically within the database.
• Knowledge of ETL processes to accurately extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Competence in data analysis to interpret and derive insights from data effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of SQL queries and database management tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of SQL databases to support significant business applications.
• Conduct research and gather data requirements from various departments for database development and enhancement.
• Develop SQL queries and scripts to support application development and various business functions.
• Participate in data modeling activities to define database structure and relationships.
• Support ETL processes by assisting in transforming and loading data into databases and data warehouses.
• Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
• Prepare detailed reports and analysis based on data churned through SQL databases for decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity and security across the databases through regular audits and monitoring.
