Role Overview
As an eLearning Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning experiences of our global audience. Your creative expertise and strategic thinking will empower learners to acquire knowledge and skills effectively. Collaborating with subject matter experts and utilizing innovative design methodologies, you will craft engaging and impactful learning solutions that cater to a diverse range of learners.
Responsibilities:
Learning Objective Mastery: Define, articulate, and document clear and measurable learning objectives that guide the creation of learning content.
Global Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts across the world, conducting in-depth research to ensure the accuracy and relevance of learning materials.
Innovative Content Creation: Design and develop comprehensive instructional materials, including courses, curriculum, job aids, proficiency assessments, simulations, and interactive PowerPoint presentations.
Guides Transformation: Transform product User Guides into intuitive Learner and Facilitator Guides that enhance the user experience.
Content Optimization: Redesign existing content to maximize its effectiveness in facilitating learning outcomes.
Multimedia Learning Tools: Develop visually appealing, interactive, and multimedia-rich learning tools that engage learners through various modalities.
Customer-Centric Approach: Maintain a proactive and solutions-driven mindset to enhance the overall customer learning experience.
Requirements:
Educational Expertise: Preferred Master’s Degree or equivalent in instructional design, education, or a related field.
Methodology Proficiency: Strong familiarity with ADDIE and SAM learning methodologies to ensure systematic and effective instructional design processes.
Learning Development Experience: Proven track record in developing eLearning content and software, as well as soft skills training programs.
Assessment Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in creating competency-based assessments, showcasing intermediate to advanced skill levels.
LMS Familiarity: Proficiency in utilizing Learning Management Systems to deploy and manage learning content.
Effective Communication: Excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Design Acumen: Graphic design knowledge is preferred, enabling you to create visually appealing and engaging learning materials.
Tool Proficiency: Fundamental understanding of tools like HTML, Microsoft Visio, Vyond, and Camtasia, which contribute to the creation of dynamic learning content.
Authoring Expertise: Intermediate to advanced experience with Articulate Storyline 360 to create captivating and interactive eLearning modules.
Passion for Learning: Demonstrate enthusiasm for continuous learning and creativity, driving the evolution of innovative learning solutions.
Media Editing Skills: Proficiency in audio and video editing to enhance the multimedia elements of learning materials.
Project Management: Ability to manage end-to-end eLearning projects, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines effectively.
Diversity Understanding: Capability to relate to a wide range of customer demographics, tailoring learning content for field workers, customer service staff, and executives.
Proactive Contributor: Exhibit a self-directed, can-do attitude, contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
